Project Manager / Sustainable Tourism Specialist, UN WTO ST-EP Foundation
After having completed an M. Sc. degree in Business Administration, I have joined LYSA, a French company of Lyonnaise des Eaux - Suez Environnement specialized in consulting services for management and operation of utilities (water, power and waste) management in developing contries.
For about 10 years, I have gained international experience as Customer Management, Marketing and Business Development Consultant while getting increasingly committed to sustainable development approaches.
In 2004, I decided to complete my practical skills with a post degree in sustainable tourism development. This led me to create Visa21, an association dedicated to the design and promotion of innovative tourism products and projects.
In October 2005, I moved to Korea and for the first three years, I dedicated myself to the organization of social and professional networking events as President of Wine & Women Korea wine club and Marketing Manager of Novotel Ambassador hotel.
Since May 2008, I have worked as Director of Global Programs and Sustainable Tourism Specialist at the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) ST-EP Foundation ( www.unwtostep.org ), dedicated to the achievement of the UN MDGs through sustainable tourism projects and programs.
Having lived and worked in Africa, Latin & Central America and Asia, I excel in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
Supervision of projects and activities supported by the ST-EP Foundation, individually or in partnership with executing / implementing partners. Review and analysis of progress reports.
- Evaluation of project proposals and requests for funding submitted to the ST-EP Foundation.
- Project design in the field of sustainable tourism, UN MDGs, pro-poor tourism, community-based tourism, ecotourism, protected areas and natural parks, climate change, gender equality, microfinance, etc.
- Management of existing and potential partnerships with UN agencies, National Tourism Administrations, NGOs, private sector.
- Project Manager in the framework of the partnership agreement with GTZ for the assessment of the impact of a portfolio of projects supported by the ST-EP Foundation; assessment of one project in Madagascar.
- Design and implementation of capacity building and cultural exchange programs addressed to officials of National Tourism Administrations from developing countries, lectures and workshops on sustainable tourism,
- Assistance to the planning of international events in Korea and abroad; reception of foreign delegations.
- Edition and translation of promotional documents: ST-EP updates, brochures, presentations and speeches, contents for workshops and conferences, etc.
2007 - 2008In charge of incraesing the sales of the 9 F&B outlets of the hotel: The Bistro (French restaurant), SHUNMI Japanese, Festival Asian Buffet restaurant, Lobby Lounge, Gran A Entertainment bar, Splash bar, Room service, etc.

2005 - 2007In November 2005, I created this wine club for women in partnership with the Europe-Korea-Foundaton, the charity arm of the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (EUCCK).
The main purpose of the club was to promote the wine culture in Korea and to support wine makers - mainly women and small producers- in their efforts to export to Korea, while adopting a sustainable development approach.
I have designed the club and its organization and management.
I have also been in charge of the design and implementation of various events - Wine around the World 2006, 2007 and 2008 (plus de 250 guests and 10 different countries introducing their wines), tasting events, etc. Finally I have built strong partnerships with wine makers from France and other wone regions as well as wine importers in Korea.
